Exam Pattern (2025):
- 200 Questions, 180 minutes
- 50 each: Physics & Maths
- 25 each: Chemistry, English, General Aptitude
- 1 mark per correct answer, -0.25 negative per wrong answer
Preparation Tips
- Start Early:
- Begin 3–4 months before exam
- Create a schedule with weekly targets (Maths & Physics first, then Chemistry, then English & Aptitude)
- Master NCERTs:
- Use Class 11–12 NCERTs for PCM
- Summarize formulas and practice solved problems
- Practice with Mock Tests:
- Attempt at least 10 full-length mock tests in real exam conditions
- Analyze wrong answers to spot weak topics
- Previous Year Papers:
- Solve last 5–10 years’ IMU CET papers
- Focus on repeated questions/important topics
- Strengthen English & Aptitude:
- Read newspapers daily, practice comprehension and grammar (Wren & Martin book recommended)
