Early Life & Education

Born in Dehradun, Major Pawan Thapliyal showed excellence in academics at Kendriya Vidyalaya, topping his classes. Inspired by his family and village tradition, he aimed for the armed forces, cracking both IIT and the National Defence Academy exams.

Military Career

He went to NDA, trained further at the Indian Military Academy, and joined the Army’s Logistics Corps. Major Thapliyal completed 11 years of service, with postings in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Kashmir, and the North-East, handling critical operations and counter-insurgency missions. In his interview, he shared how Army life taught him adaptability, leadership skills, and the ability to face challenges with courage.

Transition to Civilian Life & Entrepreneurship

After his army service, he joined flipkart as operations head and then joined DP World, a global logistics company, as Deputy General Manager. Major Thapliyal then turned entrepreneur, starting his own e-commerce venture that quickly grew across India and overseas.

His journey is all about discipline, ambition, and growing through new challenges. Today, he’s a mentor and motivator for youth, urging them to learn from every experience, whether in the armed forces or the business world.
