⚖ How the Vice-President is Elected:

➤ Voted by all Members of Parliament (Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha) — elected & nominated.

➤ State Assemblies do not vote.

➤ Candidate needs 20 proposers and 20 seconders (all MPs).

➤ Voting by secret ballot using a ranking system.

📌 How It Differs from the President’s Election:

• President: Elected MPs + Elected MLAs of States + 2 UT (Delhi + puduchery) votes
